Shouldn’t the entire thesis of this video be thrown out simply due to you making the assumption that Hoyo is using the native C# rng function? Just by that assumption alone, the entirety of the data you presented can be viewed as bias.

It would be interesting if you could statistically say, it is more likely that the RNG is the same day-to-day and patch-to-patch, than that all of the other claims are true. They've got the data for old patches, I wonder if it's enough.

I saw one of those videos a couple months ago, and with how odd programming errors can appear in all kinds of places in games I was open to the possibility, then I saw the sample sizes for the substat combinations and the disclaimer that the patterns actually "weren't 100%" and noped out, these people are reading patterns into white noise.

I love how humanity went from pythagoras creating theorems for understanding triangles to young adults figuring out the statistical significance of an rng manipulation theory for a game.

Blade was hitting like a truck in those last battles. Just...whoa. The lightcones really do seem to have made a difference, though! Especially Clara's since she was that fragile. Hopefully there will be some more varied lightcones or artifact sets that can help vary things up and enable further tactical thinking. It's a shame that some characters like Arlan just can't be used otherwise. (Hoyo, give us the equivalent to Prototype Amber...)

It's so nice to see real statistics applied to something like this, loved the video! I think it would actually be very interesting to run a study on substats taking into consideration all the issues you mentioned. I doubt it would be possible though, since you need very high sample sizes and there is little incentive for players to submit stats if they can't see the results until the study is complete. Have you heard about Star Rail's 50/50 being closer to a 56/44? Some people are saying that the sample size is too small to reject the null, and I'd love to hear your take on that.

As casual player I am in love with SU bc it's so easy and I enjoy playing it (I don't play 5 difficulty bc it's too hard for me) but I hate MoC bc my characters too weak for that

Man, I really hope there will be a lightcone or relic set or something in the future you can use so the lesser DPS characters can support/keep alive your actual DPS. Anyway, I'm sad your episodes are so sparse because they are my favorite, but I really appreciate the effort you put into them. It's way better to show actual progress and make episodes interesting than just shooting out one after the other. Keep up the good work <3

Why don't you level up other characters for their free standard banner wish? Technically it's not using them, it's just acquiring the free stuff that the game gives you. You can maybe get lucky and get clara eidolon or her lightcone again

Mass recycle the 3 star lightcones so you don't have to spam the upgrade button...

This might be something you've already tried (sorry, I haven't seen some of the episodes) but I've got an idea for some sustain, kind of. You're already using Misha pseudo-sustain, from what I can see here. But have you considered using Clara as a tank? Stacking ERR, spamming her ult for damage reduction, and giving her guard of wuthering snow. It's got some potential :)

from my experience reseting string its really does work, i usualy got every substat that got up after using the reset things i didn't encounter that much anymore

I trust myself. Using the strats i made 36 cv relic for myself, some other similar relics and some break effect relics. Being a newer player i am focused on upgrading trails and only farmed relics at the start of TL60 and during events, so these are great for me.

I want to build him since the release, but faruzan is still C4 😭😭 I got 2 T5 trying to get her to C6 ....

I actually use the team comp You've showed in the video - Heizou, Faruzan, Xianling, Bennet - and it super fun ^^ this Heizou main approves this beautiful showcase
